Youth 3v3 Basketball – cancelled

St. Cloud, Minnesota • June 24-25, 2017

Star of The North Basketball is Minnesota’s own Olympic-style amateur basketball event which will take place on the campus of St. Cloud State University. The event will feature two formats – Adult Division 5-on-5 and a Youth Division 3×3 tournament. The youth tournament will model the FIBA 3×3 basketball events and are considered one of the fastest growing events around the world; so much so that in 2020 it may even be an official Olympic sport! Players of NCAA member colleges and universities are eligible to participate in the adult tournament, as well as current overseas professional players too.

ADULT TOURNAMENT

  • Format: Tournament follows traditional 5-on-5 format that has been used by the Star of the North for years.
  • Stats: Player tournament stats posted on website.
  • Games: 3 game guarantee.
  • Cost: $300 per team
  • Details: Players must supply their own numbered jersey or t-shirt.

YOUTH TOURNAMENT – cancelled

  • Format: Tournament follows FIBA 3×3 format with a 12-second shot clock.
  • Stats: Player tournament stats posted on website.
  • Games: 4 game guarantee.
  • Cost: $300 per team.  Teams of 4 players.
  • Details: Players must supply their own numbered jersey or t-shirt.

Adult tournament details:

Must be 18+ to participate.
Men’s and women’s divisions. Recreational, Competitive. Pro/NCAA.

Youth tournament details:

U11, U12, U13, U14, U15, U16, U17 divisions, boys’ and girls’.
